13 Days Classic Uganda Safari.
This 13 days (12 nights) safari will begin and finish in Kampala. You will go to places like L.Mburo N.P, Bwindi Forest N.P, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale N.P, Murchison Falls and Kampala.
For the whole of your safari, you will be sleeping at the following places; 2 nights at Mantana Tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp, 2 nights at Gorilla Resort/ Lake Kitandara Lodge/ Buhoma Community bandas, 1night at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Kingfisher lodge /Institute of Ecology, 1night at Ishasha Wilderness Camp/ Savannah Hotel /Kyambura Gorge Fig Tree Camp, 2nights at Ndali lodge/ Rwenzori View Guest house / Primate Lodge Cottages, 2nights at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge / Red Chili Rest Campand Cassia Lodge/ Holiday Express Hotel.
13 days tour itinerary.
Day 1: Arrive in Lake Mburo National Park
On your arrival, you will be met by our safari guide who will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, which is one of Uganda’s newest National Parks. On your arrival, you will carry out an afternoon game drive in the park, seeing animals like the impalas, zebras, buffalos, topis, elands, oribis and many others. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp
Day 2: Game drives and a boat trip
Just as you wake up, you will have breakfast and then go for a game drive, where by you will be able to see the sun risers and many more. Later, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relax. After lunch, carry out a boat trip. View the water birds such as the Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, Carruther’s cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-faced Go-away bird. You will have dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Forest.
You are expected to wake up, have an early breakfast and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest found in the southern part of the country. On your arrival, you will relax at the lodge while preparing for the gorillas the next day. Mean while you will move around, relax and then have dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/ Lake Kitandara Lodge/ Buhoma Community bandas.
Day 4: Gorilla tracking
This is one of the most fascinating activities at Bwindi. So you will wake up early for breakfast and into the Gorilla Sanctuary for your adventure. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals in the forest include the endangered mountain gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and many others. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/ Lake Kitandara Lodge /Buhoma Community bandas
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a game drive while entering the park. Animals like leopards, warthogs, antelope species, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, and elephants. On your arrival, have lunch and proceed for the launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Different animals that come to drink water at the channel and water birds will be viewed along the shores. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Kingfisher lodge /Institute of Ecology
Day 6: Game drives
You are expected to wake up early for breakfast and then game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens’s mile in the park. You will see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and many more. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, drive to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth via Maramagambo Forest for dinner and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp/ Savannah Hotel /Kyambura Gorge Fig Tree Camp.
Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and boat trip
Depart to Kyambura gorge to carry out chimpanzee tracking. After lunch, enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird-watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Kingfisher Lodge/Simba Safari Camp
Day 8: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Head to Fort portal from Queen Elizabeth after breakfast. You will have lunch enroute and on your arrival you will head for a swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will view the birds and monkeys that inhabit the swamp. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge, Rwenzori View Guest house / Primate Lodge Cottages
Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking
Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee briefing by the forest guide. You will locate the chimps by listening for their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You will also see the Black and White Colobus monkeys; Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge, Rwenzori View Guest house/ Primate Lodge Cottages
Day 10: Head to Murchison Falls
Have an early morning breakfast and then transfer northwards to Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast. The park is located in the north-western part of the country. This charming drive will pass you through the famous battle zone of the Luwero Triangle. You will have a lunch stop over at Masindi town and then proceed to the Murchison Falls, the most beautiful falls on the river Nile. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge/ Red Chili Rest Camp.
Day 11: Game drives and a boat cruise
After your morning breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive on the southern banks of the river. The morning drive will take you through different habitats. On the drive, you will clear to see different animals which include giraffes, Hartebeest, Elephants, Bushbucks, Lion, Jackal and many others. After lunch, you will carry out a launch cruise and will view Hippos on the banks of the river. For those of you who interested in birding, a variety of birds will be present such as the Pel’s Fishing-Owl, king fishers, and so much more. Dinner and overnight will be at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge / Red Chili Rest Camp.
Day 12: Depart to Kampala
You will wake up early in the morning, depart from the park and head to Kampala. Along the way, you will carry out a chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest with in Budongo Forest. Those who feel like packing their luggage will do it, You will go for clubbing I mean those who are fascinated with it and those of you who are not funs, you will have  an overnight at Cassia Lodge/ Holiday Express Hotel.
Day 13: Departure
You are expected to wake up n the morning and have breakfast, get in the car and head to Kampala for a city tour. Those who want to do shopping will do it and later continue to Entebbe International Airport to find your departure flight.
