5 Days Uganda Primates & Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Entebbe Airport - Kibale Forest Park:
You arrive in Uganda at Entebbe Airport where you will be met by our guide who will then transfer you to Kibale. You will stop in Kampala for a refreshing lunch before finally driving to Kibale through Fort Portal. This takes about 8 hours. When you reach, check in at Ndali Safari Lodge/ Crater Valley Hotel/ Chimpanzee Guest House where you will stay overnight.

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park
Early morning you will wake up to go in pursuit of Chimpanzees and other primates including red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey and other primates. You will also see different fauna and flora. Other animals you are likely to see include the unique forest elephants, giant forest hogs and antelope species. From there you will take a walk to Bigodi swamp area which is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primate at close. Kibale has about 335 bird species. Have dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge/ Crater Valley Hotel/Chimpanzee Guest House.

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take breakfast and proceed to queen Elizabeth National park (4 hrs) following the mystical Rwenzori Mt. Range. When you reach take lunch and proceed to a game drive to Lake Katwe. Check out various crater lakes and visit the salt mining towns. There is so much to learn indeed. You will also view elephants, leopard, buffalo, hyena, bush bucks and antelopes along the Mweya Peninsular. You will sleep in Mweya Safari Lodge/ Mweya Institute/ Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will go a morning game drive after breakfast; return for a full breakfast then go for another Game drive to the Kasenyi plains, see big herds of elephants. In the afternoon, launch cruise on Kazinga Channel along lakes George and Edward; you’ll gape at schools of hippos, yawning crocodiles, a wide range of birds like flamingos, shoebill. Retire back at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Mweya Institute/ Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe
Depart from Queen Elizabeth to Kampala and take lunch then transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home.
