Uganda is truly "the pearl of Africa". Uganda, in the heart of East Africa, is full of the wonders of nature. With landscapes ranging from snowcapped peaks, through broad savannah and tropical rainforests to arid deserts, as well as significant wetlands, Uganda is undoubtedly a special place.

  • Murchison Falls National Park:
      The Murchison Falls National Park is afmous for its magnificient Murchison Falls and Karuma Falls, with wildlife including chimpanzee, nile crocodile, elephant, giraffe, lion, leopard, birdsetc. Activities in the park include launch cruises along the Nile, game viewing, bird watching and chimpanzee trekking.
  • Queen Elizabeth National Park:
      Microcosm of the wildlife of East Africa. It is world famous for Ishasha Tree-climbing lion, elephant, Uganda Kobs, chimpanzee, birds, topi, crater lakes with flamingoes, breathtaking scenery and natural forest, and launch trip on Kasinga Channel.
  • Kidepo Valley National Park:
      It is located in the remote north eastern Uganda with an amazing range of wildlife that include cheetah, kudu, elephants, zebra, over 200 bird species (the only Ugandan park with ostrich), fishing, and spectacular scenery.
  • Lake Mburo National Park:
      Smallest savanna park in Uganda with wildlife that include Impala, topi, klipspringer, buffalo, zebra, eland, birds (offers both dry land and water species - crested crane, marabou stork and bronze tailored starlings). It is the most accessible park, close to major towns.
  • Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park:
      The most visited and renowned national park in Uganda, home to the Mountain gorilla, chimpanzee, blue-tailed and red-tailed birds, butterflies, reptiles, dense undergrowth contains rare herbs and shrubs. Gorilla tracking, forest walks and trekking are the major activities in the park.
  • Mgahinga Gorilla National Park:
      This is another park home to the rare mountain gorillas, birds, giant forest hog, golden monkey, buffallo, bush buck, leopards, caves, mountain climbing, trekking.
  • Mt. Rwenzori National Park:
      It hosts Uganda's hoghest mountains the Rwenzori Mountains. Home to various birds, and plants. Offer opportunities for mountain climbing, trekking, wonderful and unique scenery for nature walks, luxuriant vegetation, hyrax, giant forest hog, blue monkey, unique bird species, and Pygmy villages.
  • Kibale Forest National Park:
      It is hosts the highest density of chimpanzees in Africa. Home to chimpanzees, monkeys, birds. Renowned for chimpanzee tracking, bird watching and nature walks.
  • Semliki National Park:
      Located in the rift valley, this park occupies part of the vast Ituri Forest. Home to elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, chimpanzees, lions etc. Renowned for chimpanzee tracking and bird watching.
  • Mt. Elgon National Park:
      It hosts the Elgon Mountains locally known as Masaba. Home Birds, several primates, and wild animals. Renowned for mountain climbing, hot springs, caves, and waterfalls notably Sipi Falls.
