3 DAYS GORILLA SAFARI TO VOLCANOES, RWANDA

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT.
Afterarrival at the airport, we welcome you to Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills. Why the name? It is attributed to Rwanda's relief and topography which is mountainous (steep mountains) with a dense equatorial forest.  You will be transferred to Kigali by our safari guide. Take lunch and then leave for Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. The journey to the north goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that show much of Rwanda's landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga volcanoes; sometimes five peaks can be seen namely Sabyinyo, Karisimbi, Bisoke, Gahinga and Muhabura. Spend the night at Virunga volcanoes lodge / Gorilla Nest / Kinigi Guest House.

Day 2: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TRACKING IN RWANDA.
Wake up early morning and go for gorilla tracking. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a wonderful experience. Incase you are lucky; you can get to see the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and get back at the lodge in time for a late lunch but some gorilla families are more mysterious tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy. Check in for dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge/ Gorilla Nest/ Kinigi Guest House.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Kigali where you can take lunch and proceed to the airport. Have a safe journey to your destination.
