3 Days Chimp Safari Tour, Kibale Forest Safari

Kibale National Park has the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa. The rainforest offers some excellent bird watching. Kibale's good infrastructure coupled with its biodiversity makes it an ideal destination for a safari to Uganda. 3 DAYS SAFARI - KIBALE FOREST NP

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale

After breakfast, transfer westwards via Mityana to Fort Portal, passing though lush countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal is located in the shadow of the Fabled "Mountains of the Moon," Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury)/Tree House at Kanyankyu Ecological Centre (Budget)

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking

After Break fast, transfer to Kanyanchu for registration and briefing before setting off for chimpanzee tracking. The chimp trek begins at 8.00 am in the morning. An half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoests, Red-Colobuses, Blue, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will be able to provide an informative explanation about the existing primates, the forest's fauna and flora. After lunch, a tour to Bigodi swamp eco tourism site is highly rewarding since you will be able to see unique flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) or the Tree House at Kanyankyu Ecological Centre (Budget)

Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, visit the many crater lakes, and later proceed to Kampala with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Speke Hotel or similar.
